ARACY’s National Food Security Strategy submission highlights youth-driven solutions for affordable, equitable, climate-resilient food systems, advocating whole-of-government action, school meals, clear labelling, hands-on education, and improved child health and wellbeing.

Drawing on insights from the Young and Wise Nutrition Roundtable, it amplifies young people’s solutions – including:

  • affordable healthy food,
  • stigma-free universal school meals,
  • clearer labelling,
  • and hands-on food skills education.

The submission calls for embedding youth agency, prioritising equity, and ensuring climate-resilient food systems to improve long-term outcomes in health, education, and wellbeing.
