About Us

Our Initiatives

At ARACY, we are committed to ensuring that every child and young person in Australia has the opportunity to thrive. Three of our key initiatives, the Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership, the Investment Dialogue for Australia’s Children, and The Common Approach, reflect this commitment by fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and driving evidence-based action to improve outcomes for children across the nation.

Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership

The Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership (TQKP) is an ARACY-led initiative focused on improving the wellbeing of children and young people in Queensland. By bringing together government, non-government organisations, researchers, and communities, TQKP aims to create a coordinated approach to supporting children’s health, education, family life, and social development.

TQKP is transforming how Queensland supports its young people, creating opportunities for all children to thrive.

Investment for Australia’s Children

The Investment Dialogue for Australia’s Children (IDAC), convened by ARACY, is a collaborative platform designed to encourage and guide investment in the wellbeing and development of children across Australia. The dialogue facilitates discussions among government, philanthropy, business, and community sectors to ensure long-term, sustainable investments in children’s futures.

Through IDAC, ARACY:

While convened by ARACY, IDAC is a nationwide collaboration aimed at redefining how Australia views investment in children as essential to its future success.

The Common Approach

The Common Approach is an evidence-based training programme developed by ARACY, aimed at building the capacity of professionals to have effective, strengths-based conversations with families about the wellbeing of their children.

This training equips practitioners with tools to engage families early, identify concerns, and provide support in a way that fosters trust and collaboration.

Through The Common Approach:

This initiative empowers practitioners to play a key role in safeguarding children’s wellbeing, helping to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
