Do you want to strengthen your skills in leadership and innovation?
We want to hear from you!
We are recruiting up to five ARACY Young Ambassadors aged 14 to 25 years to work in partnership with us throughout 2025 to develop our young person engagement strategy. We want to understand what opportunities would be most valuable to you, and the best ways we can engage our wider young subscribers in helpful and meaningful ways.
The role requires:
- Participation in three online workshops. Supporting us to design, implement, and evaluate the ways that ARACY can better engage young people meaningfully in our work.
- Optional participation in occasional email threads and/or WhatsApp chats about ways we can respond to and harness media attention to leverage young voices.
- No experience needed – just creativity and a passion for amplifying children’s and young people’s voices!
- Availability from January to December 2025. (if you are unsuccessful this time we’ll keep your details for future opportunities)
To support you, we will:
- Provide payments for participation in our workshops in alignment with our remuneration policy ($50 per 1.5 hour workshop).
- Acknowledge your role as our ARACY Young Ambassador on our ARACY website with a photograph and brief bio (with your permission).
- Cultivate additional opportunities for you to engage in based on your interest and passion.
- Genuinely listen, ask lots of questions, and be receptive and responsive to your insights.
Your contribution will ensure that we centre the knowledge and experiences of young people in setting our strategic, policy, and advocacy priorities.
